Title: 24-hour time system

What's the point of AM/PM being used in digital clocks?

Maybe because the English language and the general understanding of AM/PM without having to actually say them makes it pretty much pointless to use the 24-hour system that way?

"I went to bed at 4" can be interpreted two ways and with me, has been true for both at some time magician;

I guess it's a similar reason to why we rarely use metric units...
