My name on NSider was MissPyrate, because I liked pirates and thought spelling it with a y was "lol kewl." Over time, I began to realize it sucked, but I came here calling myself Miss Freaking Pyrate so if anyone was from NSider, they'd recognize me. I guess some did, but it still sucked, so I changed it to just Pyrate, since people called me that anyway. It's also slightly less retarded sounding.

MISAEL3 invited me to Banned Camp from Nsider, where we jokingly had a post rivalry going on between us. My current Nsider name sucked (DR.MARIO:SSB_KO_CHAMP), so I had to pick a new name. I picked Your Posting Rival because that's what I was to Misael, and it was appropriate for a forum.
I feel like I've shared this 20 times by now edumacate;
Kaz is short for Kazooie-Banjo, which is of course the reversed name of my 2nd favorite N64 game, Banjo Tooie being my first.

Ryan is Irish and it means "little prince" or "little king" or anything of that variety.

Post by: Claquesous on December 05, 2007, 01:35:21 PM
Claquesous is a person in a gang of sorts in Les Miserables.

"Who was Claquesous? He was night. He waited until the sky was daubed with black, before he showed himself. At nightfall he emerged from the hole whither he returned before daylight. Where was this hole? No one knew. He only addressed his accomplices in the most absolute darkness, and with his back turned to them. Was his name Claquesous? Certainly not. If a candle was brought, he put on a mask. He was a ventriloquist. Babet said: "Claquesous is a nocturne for two voices." Claquesous was vague, terrible, and a roamer. No one was sure whether he had a name, Claquesous being a sobriquet; none was sure that he had a voice, as his stomach spoke more frequently than his voice; no one was sure that he had a face, as he was never seen without his mask. He disappeared as though he had vanished into thin air; when he appeared, it was as though he sprang from the earth."

I thought it was cool at the time.

Also, I came up with "japala" when playing Pokemon Sapphire. I just made it up. BloodShiek is from me using Sheik all the time in SSBM, and always the red Sheik. Cressida... I heard it somewhere. Dagger, I can't remember.

These are most of my internet aliases.

My Cut1Less and CutLess names come from my MKDS wi-fi name. I picked the Cut1Less name because, at the time I was thinking of a name, I couldn't think of anything interesting, and I chose to base a name off of my surroundings. I had been watching a "One Less woman with HPV" commercial so the "1Less" part was decided.  I also had recently got a paper-cut, so "1LessCut" could have been my usual forum name. However, I chose Cut1Less because it sounded and looked better.

Guess.

You're a thief that stole 888 dollars/games/valuables?

no wait, you're a thief and you were going to use "666," but you thought, "Well, everyone is doing that, so I'm going to do something different," and used 888 instead?

I used this because I didn't feel like thinking of a clever name, so I just used my favorite anime character.
As for my real name, William -- English: the most successful of all the Germanic names introduced to England by the Normans. It is composed of the elements wil will, desire + helm helmet, protection.
