Title: So I has a rather odd question
Post by: Blaze-Senpai on December 04, 2007, 02:11:32 PM
Well, for here it may be stupid, but whatever.

My friends say I need a girlfriend to show me things, and it made me wonder what the hell is having a girlfriend supposed to do for me.

They seem more troublesome than they are worth it  psyduck;

You don't need a girlfriend. Once you have one, sure, great. Grand. But it shouldn't be a priority, and you certainly don't need to be "shown things."

Personally, I don't feel that any relationship is worth it unless you're really, really into it.

I've been using it in real life since '05, but I guess I've said it a lot online lately too. You can't really expect it to go away.

If you let them become a distraction, you fail at relationships.

As you can see by the graph. The red time is the time she is doing something for you. Green is the timing she is bothering you. And blue is the time she takes to make you food.  pseudo;

On one hand it's good to fool around with a girl a bit before you actually have a "serious" relationship with someone, but on the other, doing that with someone you really don't respect isn't good.

I've only had two girlfriends; the first was in 8th grade and was the whole junior high "love" relationship thing. I didn't have another one for a couple years until last winter, because I simply couldn't find anyone that I could actually respect as a human being enough to want to spend a lot of time with. I judge this mostly by whether or not people could sustain a highly intellectual conversation with me, or critique music (which is just a personal preference for something I like in people), and things like that. I did end up with a person exactly like that, though, and I don't predict us separating before the end of senior year. Or maybe even after that, I don't know.

  Women can teach men lots of things.  They can also bring the best out in the right man.  As long as you are compatible you can teach each other things. Hyper has taught me to look at life differently.  He has even taught me to admit things about my self and laugh at them. I know myself better now then I ever have.
