Title: Remind me, there is no real difference...
Post by: Blaze-Senpai on November 17, 2007, 08:27:05 PM
Between running my cpu at 2.59GHz and 2.43Ghz besides it processing more then likley unmeasureably slower and a small heat difference, correct?

Supposedly, when It's overclocked to 2.59, one of my PCI cards don't work.

It's doing 16million more calculations per second.

Pentium 4s don't scale that well.

And I have a hard time seeing the difference between 2.0ghz and 2.4ghz on my Opteron.   psyduck;

uh not necessarily given that clock speed is not necessarily on a one to one ratio to operations per second but even if it was you mathed wrong it would be 160 million not 16 million ok ok
