Too bad you'll be playing them alone, and won't be getting anyone else's without a 26 digit number. powerofone;

Why do you care? Not like you plan on playing Brawl online anyway.

26 digit numbers that are easily gained.
And actually, I have a couple friends that I play video games with without having to do it online. Yes. Real friends. Perhaps that's difficult for you to comprehend?
gfjfgkljfdsklwroehigfn.m,sfdgn,dfgkl;asdjg!?!?!?! This is the LAST thing i expected to be on Brawl! They really are going all out for this one. Just add Mii Integration and Voice chat (to shut those XBox Live fuckers up argh;) and this will be the greatest Nintendo game ever. EVER. flower;

I don't need little kids screaming into my ear, and I doubt it'll come close to anything the Super Nintendo offered. caterpie;
Cool I guess. ness;
Will you be able to download stages made by other people without knowing their friend code?
I don't see why we should have to register a person's Wii code AND Smash code. Oh yeah, I thought that Nintendo was going to make it to where your Wii code is also the code for all your games? What the fuck happened to that, Nintendo?
And I forsee myself having lots of fun with stage builder.
Awesome. I can't wait. china;

No, because someone will spell out the word "PORN" with the blocks and everyone who downloads it will be offended. :\
Friend Codes only, unless you're downloading the one Nintendo selected for the day (I think).

You'd need friend codes so only your friends would be screaming at you if they are children psyduck;
It's pretty cool, though there isn't too much you can do with stages
Nintendo needs to get rid of the friend codes.
Do they have friend codes in Japan? gonk;

QuoteFriend code you can set up a group of friends only "closed" it is also possible to create an online environment. General network games occasional news items to be stolen, such as damage to the retainer. And Nintendo-made title and the principle of free, and anyone, feel free, secure and without regard to time (Tuesdays 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm four hours of part-time server for maintenance cumbersome if you have) on the line is an environment in which trimmed.
That was translated from the Japanese Wiki article regarding Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection, so a simple answer to your question is: Yes, Nintendo uses the Friend Code system in every territory.
Awesome, even though the options look limited, it's still damn cool
Hopefully it will be just as fun as creating stages in Timeplitters: FP
