Honestly any Pokémon lol
Both good answers
The uncharted series, with the whole first one being the beginning
kingdom hearts 2

is a good answer. I hated Twilight Town
Also cutscenes are forever
the intro to KH2 was my first experience with a KH game
it was really boring n_u
thankfully i did finally play KH1 much later and thought it was pretty dang good
also, another answer for my own thread - Tales of Symphonia
much as i love the game, it starts out really slow and you learn new abilities at a snail's pace, unlike later Tales games that are much more engaging from the get-go

Ugh I want to actually finish ToS but can't for this reason
u gotta stick with it dude, game fuckin rules
I'll get there one day
Okami is one with a pretty meh start imo, and not just the unskippable prologue about Orochi.
Red Dead 2, the prologue as well.
Kingdom Hearts 2 was honestly the first thing to pop in my head. I always keep a save to just after the Roxas stuff for future playthroughs.
The prologue to RDR2 is the best prologue this generation

Been a minute since I've played out, but from what I remember it's a lot of just talking to people and doing menial quests that don't really reflect what the game becomes after that part. Compare that to a game like A Link to the Past where the whole beginning is like a mini dungeon.
I guess so but I like the characters and if you know what to do you can breeze past it

that is somewhat of an unfair comparison as aLttP is a virtually flawless and expertly paced game (even if i like a few other Zelda games more than it)
i really like the beginning of twilight princess idk why
