I decided to make a new thread so I can stop spamming MIB's thread all the time when I start streaming lmao. Also so I can have a thread with my stream schedule, current games being streamed, etc.
I will update this thread once I have more info. At the moment I'm kind of just streaming every 2 or 3 days, usually around 9 or 10 central time. Streams are currently usually consisting of a randomizer seed for ALTTP, OOT, or SM64...or SM64 16 Star speedruns. However, I plan to also get back into just streaming casual playthroughs of stuff for y'all as well. AND I want to stream semi-regular DBFZ, Smash Ultimate with viewers (especially you guys), and Mario Maker 2.
I genuinely want to do this on the reg for as long as possible, hit Twitch milestones, and get a nice channel going. No aspirations to be some huge streamer or anything (I dont really want a lightspeed chat anyway), but ya. I wanna have fun with this thing.
I will post in this thread when I'm planning on streaming later that night, and probably also post when I actually go live, and update the thread title accordingly.
Btw, giving a follow even if you never actually show up would still help me out, as the first milestone I'm tryna hit is 50 followers. Hint hint. :3

all right, here's what i'm thinking for now
kazstream nights: wednesday, friday, sunday. ~7 or 8pm central.
also, kazstream tonight. oot randomizer seed, in its entirety unless it ends up being a super bad seed or i get way too tired. the problem with trying to split seeds between multiple streams is that it's too easy for something to happen and ruin things in between, whether it be a windows restart or a tracker crash or whatever. so from now on i'm going to always try to do complete seed runs. i'll start tonight's stream at about 7pm central with a new shopsanity ootr seed. shopsanity is pretty cool actually because it just adds a nice amount of flexibility to the randomization, but not an outrageous amount like tokensanity. so yeah, shops shuffled, but also cows because cowsanity is optimal. cows are the best part of the game and that's why oot is the best zelda game
possibilities: viewer requested song queue using nightbot. me being both exhausted (my sleep is outta wack, staying up all night streaming will help me get back to normal there) and drunk

tbh its not as good as oot randomizer, because mm has way more minigames you have to check, and random rupee rewards too. like all three tiers of pictograph rewards, all tiers of curiosity shop sale rewards, etc. and although you CAN set it to major items only, that's kinda boring, and severely limits how randomized things actually are. so it's kind of an all or nothing rando lol
unlike oot tho, there's no way i'm shuffling cows in cause idk where all the cows are
but i think that, when a seed for mmr is good, it's overall shorter than ootr simply because there's less dungeons. there also seems to be fewer spots where there's only one check and it's like really out of the way and takes forever and it ends up probably being nothing and you just wasted 5-10 minutes (saving the carpenters, desert wasteland shrine, fire arrows at lake hylia, etc.)

however, this randomizer randomizes music and sfx much better and the "no music" setting actually works, if i wanted to create a seed for another time where we do a music request queue. not this time tho

also, i was hating on dark cloud the other night cause of that boss, but now that i actually understand weapon upgrades, synth stones, and "building up" more, i like the game again lol. cause on one hand, yeah, it's still all basically grinding, but on the other hand it's a type of grinding i actually like quite a bit, and i was kinda just going about things all wrong before. when i stream dark cloud tomorrow night i should be able to carve through that boss like paper and we can move on to the next area

kazstream is doing so much better these days. i've been doing it much more regularly, and a few generous people are consistent subscribers so i always have at least a little revenue. recently i was raided by linkus7 (big wind waker speedrunner and general zelda content creator) with his huge audience when doing an ocarina of time randomizer, and i've snagged a few extra consistent viewers that way. and i've also been grinding my sm664 speedruns more lately on stream, and have hit several new PBs!

oh, and i've made a grand total of about $135 on twitch so far! wowie!
