It's like drinking a root beer float.

root beer + milk + cup. I am An Asshole I Know
another variant I've tried is to use chocolate milk and cream soda. the result is exceptionally delicious.

I think those directions might be wrong
i think you can buy a enough root beer and [soy] milk to try a few times before you have to buy more. I might be wrong in my measurements, but I think it is possible.
dear collective boyah: scoff in the face of snowy.
I've never heard of this before. But one time, for some reason, I did think of how horrible it must taste if you mixed coke or root beer with milk. Then it dawned on me that there's root beer floats and stuff like that so it would probably be okay.
The stuff you buy in the store is not carbonated or anything, so that's something to consider if you guys are trying to make your own.

I think this fact puts the at-home DIYer's root beer milk a step significantly beyond store-bought root beer milks.
Never heard of it, but it sounds alright. Usually when I'm done with the ice cream in my root beer float and I try to drink the rest it hurts my stomach after a while...

I hate seltzer because it tastes like shit, not because of the bubbles
It is water + bubbles, do you hate water?
bubbles come from soap. i do not want soap in my water.

I am fine with both though

Which looks the same, but is completely different. And gross, yes
soda water n lemon is my favorite, love dem bubbles. I mean haven't you always wondered what carbonated milk would be like?

It tasted alright, I don't know. Can't say I loved it, but I am not a Big Soda drinker+ that was my first one. So i experiment more, deff better thank root beer alone.

I actually made some of this today, it was really fucking good.
I only used a little bit of chocolate syrup to make it chocolate milk, then 3 parts milk and 1 part root beer. After a little like a miinute or so it got this foamy sweet top that was just delicious. The carbonation wasn't even noticeable
I mixed some with my Sasparilla the other day and it was actually fantastic

SUCKERS HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
Can someone tell me what root beer is? I get requests for it all the time at the restaurant, usually by children, but I just look at them funny and say no.
"Root beer is a carbonated, sweetened beverage, originally made using the root of a sassafras plant (or the bark of a sassafras tree) as the primary flavor. "
basically it's a kind of soft drink
I prefer ginger beer over root beer though
Well when people ask me for it I think they are crazy and hand them sprite.
really socks....

Mhm which requires three different steps and is really just sprite with sugary red syrup dumped in and served to crack head children who ask for another one 2.3 seconds later.

Root beer's a dark soda though. You've got to at least give the kid a pepsi or something, man.
You have so say it real bastardy too. Like "oh, we don't have root beer here. Would your highness care for a pepsi instead?"
Like that, but through a "fucking" in there somewhere.

Those who ask for root beer and are rebuffed go straight for sprite. So I figure they all like that. We also serve coke, no fancy pepsi or fucking cherry juice, banana extract or kiwi punch. We do have poppin' pink lemonade though.

I still think it's odd and hilarious that you had never heard of root beer
somebody told me that sassafras can be kind of like taking a roll has anybody else heard of this? that's' funny that it was in root beer.
i feel like root beer is a very common drink. and i also frequently order shirley temples & i think it sucks when places don't have them. i am going to get a bottle of grenadine so i can make them all the time.

I've been asked more and more for it since I posted that and I still don't stop to think about it. My immediate reaction is to pretend they yawned or something and requested space dust, so I just ignore everything and tell them we don't have that. Which brings us back to square one and making hard choices between what they really want and need. I help people realize sane alternatives they hardly even kbow exist. One root beer denial at a time.
I forgot.
