Title: does anybody actually know what a tablespoon is

if i want to accurately measure a "tablespoon" i have to go and find an ACTUAL tablespoon, each and every time

otherwise i'd get a different amount literally every time

though i have the same problem w/ teaspoons LOL

And how in Christ’s name does one measure an ounce? Why is it abbreviated “oz”? huhdoodame;

I really wish Americans would get in the habit of just using scales for measuring things. Volumetric measure of solids is so archaic
