The problem is a lot of gmos aren't properly tested in regards to what their effects will be.

i would never blindingly trust monsanto, nor would i ever advise or suggest they be blindly trusted lol
i have yet to see an example of gmo produce that is any worse for human consumption than a non-gmo equivalent, but if there's been a new development on that front i'm interested in seeing for myself
there certainly is room for caution, and so far the real cost of mass-producing resilient plants has been ecological, in theory (crossing over of genes for resilience into pest species would be an enormous problem) and legal, in practice (monsanto's pursuit of flimsy copyright infringement claims is often devastating, and devastatingly petty; plus the whole notion of gene patenting in general has terrifying implications)
but as far as i'm aware, as far as human nutrition goes, gmos are equally as safe as non-gmos, if not outright better because of the ability to augment their nutritional value through gene manipulation

starbucks has ruined coffee menus, honestly. They change the name of actual beverages to whatever they please. like a caramel macchiato on their menus is more or less, a large iced latte with whipped cream and caramel drizzle on it, when an actual macchiato is a shot of espresso with a little dollop of foam on top of it.
I'll be honest, I drink plenty of starbucks now that I work close to one, but their menu is retarded, to say the least.

well i weirdly don't mind provolone or mozarella, but i don't even eat sandwiches often anyway lol. but when i do usually use either dijon/honey mustard, hoagie/pepper spread, depends. i put sriracha in tuna sandwiches sometimes too

cheese is also usually salty so although it contains water it's more like salt water.
Meats and veggies also contribute water to a sandwich but Tec would still consider that a dry sandwich without mayo/cheese
meat and veggies help of course, but it really depends on the type of sandwich tbh lol

yeah that was like my poor person's sushi roll sandwich when i had nothing else to eat lol. definitely wouldn't eat it if i had better options.
