it was fun! as a kid i never played all the actual campaigns. same with rct2, which i also plan on similarly completing.

I beat Fire Emblem Three Houses. It was p neat although the monastery stuff dragged on a bit

Also beat What the Golf which was a fun little game

Those controls so slippery though even worse than 64. I will say it at least has very few blue shell appearances which is nice

Finally finished Pentiment. Very good game, though it's closer to a visual novel tbh. Also definitely not for everyone, would not recommend unless you think the Holy Roman Empire is an interesting historical period lol. Lots of reading and talking to peasants and eatin rye bread.

But damn the ending really pays off, good shit.

i havent beaten any of them but i do enjoy how much more batshit they get in the later ones; the first one is basically a super mario land game with a hefty guy who likes treasures

I dislike the later ones for being more akin to metroidvanias with all the backtracking. Although 4 is apparently more similar to 1 but I never got to try 4

I really liked that one but I played the originals a lot so that definitely made it a lot easier
