well, most zoomers have never played oot of time, but i'm sure they appreciate a good bit of z-targeting (same for the """hardxxxre""" souls*ucks who think they're such hot sh@)

practically nobody has ever played mario bros. 2, yet we all know birdo and we all like that luigi flutter-jumps and that peach floats and has crazy upsk*rt potential

the mario series would be completely different (read: even worse) if not for a game almost nobody has played

i can think of one way that relates to me personally

watching competitive play of something hype but i've never played personally. some fighting games are like this for me
