October Horror/Halloween Movie Challenge. This is a fun way for the horror fans, aficionados, and connoisseurs to challenge themselves during this most spooky month of October.
The gist of it is that you watch as many horror movies as you can during the month, starting at dusk on October 1st and ending with the dawn of November 1st. You may choose to participate at the Fledgling Level, and watch 31 Movies in 31 Days, or you may do the Master Challenge and watch 100+ movies during the month.
I will buy the boyager that watches the most spoopy movies something <$15 on Amazon.
or a Video game currency card, or Premium Feature card equaling $20.
(I might buy someone who watches at least 31 movies during the month and watches at least 5 or 10 movies that match on my list something too)
Prize will be given out on November 2nd.
Start making your lists now and get to watching!
(and apparently since I posted this on October 2nd you should try to get caught up on the movie watching)
Point scoring:
30 minute TV shows= .25 points an episode
1 hour TV shows= .5 points
Movies (regardless of running time)= 1 point

No, as long as you watch something in the Horror genre you're set.

Who the fuck actually has the time to watch 100 movies in a month? I mean, figure about two hours per flick. That's like eight full days in the month spent on watching movies.

No one said you HAD to watch 100 movies in a month :|
Edited to include tv shows and a point system
The boyager with the most points on November 1st wins the prize
second place and third place prizes will be determined at a later date
If you make a list post it.
If you don't, you must post what you watch with a small summary in your words to get the points.
Just saying.
It's more like a challenge of who can get a bedsore the fastest or who can achieve the most muscle atrophy if you're going to spend eight full days in a month watching movies Just Saying.
