agreed, i feel like these days he puts too much stock in doing "skits" and having silly effects and dumb stuff like that. episodes like the ROB one are pretty much what i'm talking about.
he's better when he's more or less just doing reviews and being angry

agreed, but i still look forward to this movie. it will be nice to see him fulfill his dream of making a feature movie

I like the Nerd, and I'd watch it at home, but a theatrical release - though limited - seems awfully optimistic. This looks like one of Channel Awesome's feature-length productions, just better filmed and with slightly better effects.
"slightly" is a bit of an understatement
Official Digital release of the movie is Sept 2.

So i just watched the movie
I gotta say, it was quite enjoyable. Its definitely a B movie, but thats what james was going for. This movie was meant to be cheesy, but its cheesy in all the best ways.
Suffice it to say, that if you are not a fan of avgn, you probably wont enjoy it.
But I am glad I downloaded it. I look forward to the bluray/dvd
