in truth, i partly made this topic to get a sense of how many people are aware of this at all lol sillydood;
it's a very quick and easy way to make lagdroid feel faster

I just leave mine at the default 1x. Developer options aren't really meant for everyday use and it's not like animations ever bother me on my phone. On my desktop, on the other hand, I use a gnome extension to speed up animations.
The options are: animations off, 0.5x, 1x, 1.5x, 2x, 5x, 10x
