Wow thanks. I didn't know. Why would they even add that in there. If you are reading the damn article you obv. already know what it means.

someone hasn't listened to rust never sleeps enough, clearly

how can you even say that an album with songs as godawful as "a man needs a maid" can be the best neil young album

i mean really those two orchestrated songs pretty much immediately make the album a letdown to some degree, they're awful

rust never sleeps is more consistently good and comes very, very close, but i still prefer harvest. yeah, the orchestration wasn't great, but everything else was amazing.

Oh good another potentially great topic turned into a discussion on something no one cares about.

If you can link anime, baseball, and classic rock together then we won't even need another thread for the rest of Boyah's existence!

You're right, Neil Young is really interesting.

uh that's irrelevant because i'm talking about your dull affinity for old sexters, not bringing neil young into question, but okay

not to mention neil young is more interesting for anyone who actually has, you know, a good taste in music that stretches back farther than maybe 10 or 20 years

really if you have that big of a problem with this, you can keep whining i guess, but i can just delete your posts, lol

uh kaz veal does have a point, changing the subject completely is kind of dumb, even if you think the original subject of the thread is stupid.

there's a reason why we differentiate between regular threads and chat threads

that's nice jmv, except we also like to differentiate between "changing the subject" and just talking about something else in the midst of a subject that actually hasn't changed

you crazies seem to think that i took this thread by the throat and forced it to be a neil young thread, when in fact i never did, nor did i discourage people from keeping on-topic

by the way, did you know that going off-topic happens in nearly every thread? if it's a problem jmv, why don't you deal with it? why do you ignore those posts, jmv? why is it only in this thread that it's a problem? why not every other thread where it happens?

nothing wrong was happening here, really, veal just decided to be an ass
Title: Re: Old people
Post by: Samus Aran on November 21, 2009, 04:18:46 PM
also, thread locked, since clearly there's nothing left here to discuss, since this is now a neil young thread and it has gone madly off course. this is what a proper moderator should do in that scenario, after all.

because you raged at veal for pointing it out and then defended going off topic by you not caring about the merit of the topic.

i didn't defend going off topic, or at least didn't try to, i just defended neil young from being something "nobody cared about"
