my interpretation is that everyone was suicidally depressed around 2008-2010ish because life was depressing, no one had any money, so the first show they saw they fell in love with.
that guy whose name i cant remember, ron swanson, is maybe the least funny character ever written. he literally sounds like a sad fat child, his voice is so bad.

First season and a half isn't that great tbh if you started there. All the seasons up til maybe the last 2 are pretty good. Then again I'm an urban planner and also used to work in a Parks Department so maybe I identify with it more.

yeah the first season of parks and rec is terrible and forced, 2nd season is alright but after that it is pretty damn good aside from the whatever last season
