Beer is usually pretty damn nasty. Sam Adams is kind of drinkable, but I prefer vodka & juice above all other drinks.

I'm fond of Fat Tire, PBR, and Blue Moon.

But really, I'm fine with anything that isn't Bud Light, Miller Light, MGD, or just any general beer I see advertised during some sort of sporting event.

haha alright skylark
Some of my friends smoke weed and I'll sit with them while they're doing it so I guess I've gotten 2nd-hand high (lol), I don't really have a problem with it. Maybe when you move up here we can party together or whatevs

I haven't really been drunk in a while.  befuddlement

I'll agree that PBR is one of the less disgusting beers. Blue Moon wasn't very good from what I remember.

My friends and I spent about every single day last summer drinking Red Dog. It was cheap, and we drank it to the point where it actually tasted good. It's cheap as fuck though

Every once in a while we would buy some Fosters just because of the big ass can, I hated the taste hocuspocus;

I actually love the taste of most beers.
There really is nothing better than a good IPA and some grilled marinated shrimp. (I just finished deveining a shitload and I'm getting ready to fling them on the grill right now actually)

I stick with rolling rock as my default.
New Glarus makes spotted cow which is fantastic. Wisconsinites should all know this already though. I'm talking in very choppy sentences today. It's bothering me. I'm not sure how to fix it either.

Beer is theeee best.

When I have the money I usually buy Blue Moon or Red Stripe, or sometimes Steigel in the summer. Sometimes I'll get something different lIke Heineken or 312 or whatever.

When I don't have the money I get High Life if I'm getting a whole case,  or Old Style of I'm just getting 6. Used to drink a lot of Red Dog until my CVS stopped carrying it. In Minneapolis I typically get Grain Belt instead.

My favorite beer might be Fulton Lonely Blonde. I generally like most beers that aren't too hoppy. IPAs are super trendy but I'm just not into it.

Looking at some of the comments - is there even any beer that DOES taste good?

Either way, I usually like Sleeman's, MGD, or Mill Street. Trying to get into some more home brewed stuff though. Can't stand dark beer.

I like brown ales and red ales a lot. Smuttynose Old Brown Dog is great. I really like most of what Victory and Magic Hat make too. There are a couple local breweries (Brown's and Davidson Brothers) that make some delicious brews.

As far as stuff you'll find everywhere, I usually go with Sam Adams.

I've bought a bunch of new shit in the last few days. When i was passing through the state i did two "make your own six packs":

got those

I wanted to grab a sour beer and a christmas beer or two today (mad elf on left was one) but ended up picking up this instead:

left 6 were in a sampler pack

middle 2 were single bottles

last 3 were sam smith gift set and turned out to be cheaper than if i bought them separately and only marginally more than if i just bought the chocolate stout.

Drinking the left of the dial now

I'm glad everyone seems to agree that IPAs can be pretty good. I dont have much experience with then though. Alexander Keith's is a good one I've had. Rolling Rock is OK.

Has anyone had shandies? I like those too. Summer Shandy was nice this summer.

I haven't really had much that I actually like when it comes to popular beer, though up here Labatt Blue is popular as a lager, and its pretty decent.

Tbh I don't bother with beer much, I tend to lean toward hard cider and stuff or hard liquor/mixed drinks/liqueurs more often

which summer shandy?

i forget the last i had. i think Leinenkugel, though tons of places had shocktop.

if you can you should try ufo raspberry hefeweizen.

not so much of a beer flavor as a nice raspberry one

Shandies are okay because they're still cheap like Leinenkugel's but also somewhat cover up the standard Leinenkugel taste which is kinda lousy imo. I forget which one is my favorite of theirs but I always find fruit beers interesting if nothing else

I drove north a few weekends ago and spent an afternoon at Door County Brewing with some friends. Awesome taproom and some neat beer, my favorite being their Polka King Porter (which is their big foundation, I think). Their farmhouse ales were stellar too. Neat brewery that's just starting to get some traction in the state.

What kind of brews do they have over there?

Mostly lagers
Chang, singha, leo, and heineken have been the only ones I really see, which is a shame since they all taste more or less the same

I did find some beer that looks like malt liquor (8.8% alc I think) at a 711 that I've been saving for a rainy day lol

Nothing too crazy

Japan is maybe the only place where yo'll find something decent but even then it's eh.

I've been drinking Chang every night lol
You can usually get double sized bottles for like 70 baht ($2usd) and it has become incorporated into my budget
