Hair is weird. I think everyone has strong opinions on hair preference, both on themselves and others. And it's one of the few things we can really change drastically about our appearance over time or even all at once.

WHAT HAIRSTYLES/COLORS DO YOU FIND MOST ATTRACTIVE?

ARE YOU HAPPY WITH HOW YOUR HAIR DO?

I honestly think women with short(er) hair are almost always much more attractive than those with long hair. Between chin-length and maybe a little past her shoulders is my favorite. I like pixie cuts too tough. When a woman has a feminine enough face to pull off super short hair, that's HOT.

I also usually like darker hair, dark red/auburn being my favorite. I only actively like blonde hair when it's particularly short. Think just long enough to pull back into a tiny little ponytail.

i like long hair on women.

idk ive always like my own hair and never had a preference really. i've grown it kinda long now, but ive been thinking of getting it cut short again.

on girls i like straight hair or pony tails. my girlfriend knows this and prefers wearing her hair curly lol oh well she's still pretty

i've started going to a barber more frequently for my cuts and it has been a good improvement for me being attractive. it's nice going to the same barber each time because they remember what you want your hair to look like and are really consistent. and you develop a nice relationship that usually involves slightly deeper talk than small talk. i have a good spot where i pay $21 + tip (usually $25-26) which is p good for seattle area.

Curls are so cute my GOD. Every time I see a girl with straightened hair I get just a little bummed. This goes double for black women. Natural African hair is gorgeous in a very specific way.

Her bun is at least better because she still has hair coming down too. I mean when it's ALL mashed into the bun then it's ew.

tbh i hate my natural hair (jet black) and i wanna dye it strawberry blonde with more pink tones. my skin has yellow undertones so cool toned hair colors look like shit on me. i also like medium length hair with bangs (what my hair is rn). i did very short hair once cuz the hairdresser fucked my hair up so i had to go to another salon to get it somewhat fixed, but i hated it

on men, i like any natural hair color. unnatural ones look weird on them. i also don't like long hair on most men. parted fades look rly hot except when they take the hair clipper and make the hair part wider, that just ruins it

on women, i personally dont like unnatural hair colors on white women cuz 90% of the time they're ugly sjw tumblrites; however, asians pull off pastel/neon colors better. shoulder length to long hair is cute, not a fan of short hair

I like unnatural hair colors if the person commits to taking care of the shade and making it look good. I feel like your observation of tumblr-crowd types has more to do with the fact that it looks like they just dump in some dye without bleaching first and it even if it comes out well they don't take care of it. It can look great, you just have to do it right and maintain it, which a lot of people don't do.

i have somewhat of a bias because of ivy, but her usual choices for hair are pretty much ideal for me. short black hair if going natural, short green hair if unnatural. preferably chin length or slightly longer, however well-done super short boyish cuts are also great.

basically, i just like short hair, and i pretty specifically like black and green.

im letting my hair grow cos my husbando wants me shoulder length+ but it's only cos he wants me to look japonese

I only use cold air to dry cos my hair is naturally dry (I used to go to a salon that had student barbers and one suggested my hair was like hay)

my roomie believes in nopoo but my hair gets so oily and gross after working out so I always wash it

parted hairstyles or when guys do that manbun thing and shave the sides are cute hairstyles but I can't pull those off

tbh i think it's the haircut with unnatural hair colors that put me off. butch-looking, sjw white women with ugly long hair on top with the sides and back shaved with booger-green or stark saturated blue hair is just hideous.

but yeah, unnatural hair can look somewhat nice if a) they take care of it and it's not fried looking and b) they don't pair it with an ugly haircut
