Shiira is based off Webkit. You still have Safari 2.x, so you can truly enjoy Shiira. It's pretty hard to resist a browser with a sidebar, more features than even Safari 3, and the greatest speed on the planet. psyduck;

Because I have Safari 3 and I have no idea where my OS X discs are. psyduck;

Also, anything above Shiira 1.2.2 shows up as some version of Safari. psyduck;

K so what exactly are these features that are worth throwing safari to the side for, because Safari just crashed on me. And NOTHING should be crashing on a brand new macbook.

Safari crashes all the time. All browsers do. psyduck;

And it all depends on which version you get. The downloads are under 10 megs, so just test them out. psyduck;
