Any experience with homebrewing nuclear reactors?

I was watching some videos for DIY off the grid energy and about to try it out for myself. I prefer brown energy over green mostly because I dont want to send china anymore money for solar panels and wind just isnt powerful enough to power my future gamer mansion (tiny house).
