  • kirby's adventure

probably the only nes game i'd put on this list
Does it ever get difficult? I only played a little bit but couldn't keep going because the powers aren't as fun as modern kirby and it seemed really easy
yeah i gotta say adventure is the most boring, stale ass kirby game lol. like it served it's purpose for its time but i wouldn't put it on any kind of pedestal.

nightmare in dreamland, on the other hand, is an amazing remake of adventure and it is nearly flawless

though adventure (and nmid by extension) do have the annoying "take one hit and you lose your power" thing which has always annoyed me about some older kirby games. i feel like it was better from the snes onward, where you'd lose it after a few hits, not just one

C.Mongler

i found nightmare in dreamland also boring but i would put it well above the original at least lol

ultimately i'm a super star stan so whatever. also planet robobot knocked my socks flippin off and i can never go back

idk man maybe i suck at videogames but zelda 1 and 2 are hard

they are, but mostly for bad reasons lol

  • kirby superstar (ultra)

But what makes it so much better than Adventure? befuddlement

disclaimer i haven't actually played super star in years so i don't remember every detail about it lol, adventure is much more fresh in my memory

never beat Red (the final boss guy) til this year but they're still amazing games.

I guess it does have a flaw in that Kanto is way too easy until Red but that Kanto was included at all is a bonus

lol

my mind keeps flickering to skyrim (and dark souls) too but jesus christ no

however, they serve as good examples of games i like more than many of the virtually flawless ones named itt, in spite of their glaring faults

Wii

i actually was specifically talking about the wii version lol

i can't speak for the others but i assume their controls are significantly worse

but as far as i remember, re4 wii edition has no substantial faults

6M69I69B9

ouendan 1 & 2, eba (never played eba RIP lmao)
they were grassroots for osu and other similar rhythm games

viewtiful joe 1 & 2 were flawless TOO
