I'm guessing you can shower once you get to work??

I think once you get to a certain level of bike-fitness you stop perspirating so much (also depends on personal physiology and the temperature) but it's never been a problem for me.

I know lots of new agey corporations have bike locker rooms and showers though which is p cool

It's always hot and crowded in Dallas so biking is not an option. On top of that, my commute to work doesn't have bike lanes or sidewalks.

You are allowed to ride in the street you'll just probably die hocuspocus;

Riding on the sidewalk is also quite frequently illegal in a lot of cities

In all honesty though if I were to be hit I couldn't afford fixing their car so I wouldn't anyway lol

addendum: trying to take the bus to work every day is also total ass in the middle of winter

Not so much in Texas, but I could totally get why it is for you.
