perhaps i'm a little biased but ny style is simply the best :'(

YPrrrr

I love most of them. And NY pizza always has a special place in my heart.

But I have been converted to Detroit style. Those crispy edges with the caramelized cheese are amazing

NY is god tier. Chicago is trash tier.

I haven't had every style listed so perhaps i should get on that. But if I aint gotta fold my slice like a fucking origami crane to eat it, that shit aint poppin' IMO

YPrrrr

Chicago pizza is good but it definitely does not satisfy my pizza itch when I want pizza

It's like its own separate thing. Like pizza pie casserole

Daddy

correct. chicago pizza is not pizza so much as a pie constructed with pizza ingredients

YPrrrr

Today I had a person tell me their favorite pizza is frozen pizza so they can make their thin crust crunchy.

Wtf who likes burnt frozen pizza the best

C.Mongler

i like my pizza on the cripsier side tbh

not like burnt burnt tho

but im also not that particular about it

The Hand That Fisted Everyone

hawaaian pizza was developed in CAnada and while delicious i dont know that they actually eat it in hawaii

YPrrrr

Daddy

also common in MA is bar pizza https://www.bonappetit.com/entertaining-style/trends-news/article/bar-pizza (south shore vs the greek pizza on the north shore)

Still not great but much better than greek pizza but it's a good drunk pizza

snoorkel

tfw havent lived anywhere with a distinct style of pizza

FAMY2

Detroit pizza is my favorite. Probably cause I live so close to there so it's been perfected.

Hiro

I'm inclined to say New York, Chicago, and California are generally safe bets, but it really just depends on the specific pizza itself, the style generally doesnt inherently make it better or worse, though some of those more obscure ones sound a bit gross.
Quad City style looks like it could be good befuddlement

Hiro

Also tbh up until recently I didn't think Detroit style was a real thing, I only heard of it in reference to Little Caesars goowan
