I just wish there were a heavier emphasis on singleplayer.

So far, it's quite fun. I've only really been able to do turf wars so far, but even that is engaging me.
Matches are really quick, at 3 minutes, so it's easy to get in that "one more game."

The charm in this game is undeniable.
I need to put some time into other modes still

So, after playing this for a number of hours...
I'm not sure how I feel about it.

It's fun, to be sure, but there's really only one game type that's readily available, and not ranked. There's a couple other modes, but they're really only mildly adjusted versions of the main mode, Turf War.

Single Player is ok. Not great. Supposedly the expansion is better, but I don't wanna drop  $20 on it.

Salmon run is fun, but not always available. I don't wanna have to play according to the games schedule.

Idk, I may return the game, and get something different.
We'll see

yeah, well, that's precisely why i would never spend $60 on a game like splatoon lol, let alone $80 for the complete package

I used Callie in that imitation just because she's absent from Splatoon2's Inkopolis Plaza (unlike Marie), because they lost the focus in Splatoon 2 ("great again"), because supposedly Callie/Marie fans should be split roughly 50/50 (like how 50% of people are male)
