retro's talent is probably being absolutely wasted on yet another side-scrolling platformer or other extremely basic title

I honestly think it could be retro, mainly because it's Prime and not just a new Metroid
My expectations are a decently-sized and varied "open world" (like all metroid games) with p. nice graphics, it will be set either way before or way after the other prime games, and samus will probably have an updated look
I personally would like a control method where the left stick controls directional movement and aiming with the left joycon, while the right stick can be visors or some shit and right joycon cannnnnn i dunno
I expect it to play more or less like the other prime games

i feel like that's the direction 3d metroid needs to go in
