well, you can't parry him in his second phase if you allowed him to buff himself, because if you did, he can't really be stunned. you can backstab/visceral him out of buffing himself tho, then the second phase is super easy because he'll then be really easy to parry as all he'll do is melee attacks

i honestly remember very little of my own fight against him, i don't think i did anything special other than hiding behind stuff to keep away from his magic, and just dodging his melee attacks

that giant sword explosion he does when he's switching to phase 2 is an interruptible buff??????? god damn it it's artorias all over again

i must have discovered it by accident because i do remember being able to parry him in his second phase. i only read online later that said buff really sucks if you let it happen

im confused because i never interrupted the buff but the only reason i even beat him was by doing parry+visceral attacks with fire paper lol. i think you have to be REALLY close to him or else the bullet will literally bounce off of him
