Hey, I'm thinking of grabbing a PS3 this holiday, lol. What games should I try out? I own a Wii U, PS2/1, PSP, Xbox, and 360. Plan on getting a PS4 in the distant future, so will wait on the games that were rereleased there w/ much better versions.

Types I want
Multiplayer games (that don't directly compete with Wii U games)
Whacky games that are unique
Solid titles

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll certainly look out for your suggestions. Will be waiting on titles I am "meh" on as they'll likely get HD remakes or just become really cheap. Lots of interesting titles out there, send me the unusual ones.

Like what? I have a ton of old PS2 games like Jak and Daxter series, Silent Hill series, God of War series, Metal Gear series, Sly series, Onimusha series, Katimari gaemz, Maximo 1/2, Kingdom Hearts.

also if you're interested in playing peace walker but don't have a psp, the mgs hd collection comes with it

and one of the god of war collections comes with ps3 ports of the psp games too

I have played, beaten, and loved Shadow of the Colossus. I have Ico but my PS2 has trouble playing it, think it's due to the blue bottom and my haggard PS2. Great titles, thanks for the reminder.

I have a PSP, quite dusty. Might grab that.

Need God of War PS3 titles on the list, they're not high priories.

Last of us is quite high on my list but there is a PS4 version, is it that much prettier?

Dark Souls isn't quite my cup of tea but I'll try it.

Any good multiplayer games? Especially ones that are not FPS? Wanna get my GF involved a bit too.

Little Big Planet is the only one I can think of. I have a Wii U so it has to compete with those games.

I guess technically ps4 last of us does look better, but unless you already own a ps4, just grab it on ps3. It still looks amazing.

really all the ps4 version gives you is 60 fps, which really doesnt matter, and the DLC
