Seems like a no brainer. And Starfox.

And Starfox.
needs to die
It's like a bad on rail shooter. It can do well but there are so many ways to make the game terrible. I think just a polished version of Star Fox 64 would do the trick, but needs more depth and much longer.

it's v. attractive, and contrary to zelda """fan""" tears the frequency of comparisons to skyrim that i'm hearing excite me

but after seeing this video i'm a bit concerned, as they didn't demonstrate that there was any reason whatsoever for the player to want to stop and get off the horse and get sidetracked within the 6+ minutes of traversal from the precipice to the tower

instead i saw completely empty plains and barren woods

the abundance of things to discover and caves and settlements and fortresses to explore in between primary destinations in skyrim is a huge component of what makes it so great

i really hope the overworld in this new game isn't just wind waker's ocean and the king of red lions swapped out for solid ground and epona, because i'm absolutely tired of large but utterly lifeless worlds that serve no purpose except to dilute the (increasingly more tedious) zelda experience

Well said, I noticed that same thing during the video.  saddood;

What the fuck was it for anyway?

klappa

they were basically showing things present in other rpgs that arent exciting by themselves.  nintendo really needs to fire/retire some of their older staff. although maybe they didnt show what will make this game special and compelling.

Yea I'd say it looked pretty bare bones as well.

There were like 6 trees on that map. All looking identical.

No offense to her but she kinda doesn't know crap about shit

Hiro

game still looks fairly early in development to me but the new things they showed excite me

i lol'd

the fact that they feel the need to separately confirm this at all says a lot about the state of the game

for the zelda team, "plenty to do" means there might be a pointless generic enemy once every ten square miles, and maybe a heart container or two to be found in the wild

QuoteYeah, there may even be times where you forget what your goal is, because you are doing other things on the side.

yeah, i can imagine that i'd eventually forget what my goal is after spending an agonizingly dull fifteen minutes travelling along a lifeless sea of grass
