If there is a good Sonic game, name it. I have never beaten any Sonic game because... they suck.

Hiro

sonic 1-3 are decent, as is generations, and advance 2. despite not really being that good i still enjoy adventure and to a lesser extent adventure 2, plus they're pretty short games and can be beat in about 2 afternoons.

I agree Sonic 1-3 aren't bad games, played the first two til I get bored yet never really feel like I am going to devote enough time to beat either when I play... I might actually call them good games though. Sonic Generations looks cool. I recall Sonic Adventures looking fantastic when I was a kid so I got Sonic Adventure DX: Director's Cut... fuck that was bad  saddood;

whaa?  I really liked both Sonic Adventures...

have you played either of them in the past ten years

Classic

Sonic Adventure 1, no matter how bad it is, will always have a special place in my heart.

SA2, on the other hand...only the Chao garden was worth the playtime.

YES. Haha that is the best. and the first level where you run from trucks and grind down stairs is fun too.

I wouldn't say overrated, it's more that they raise the bar of what one should expect from games but that is just imo
