coming from a big dbz enthusiast, i consider it a comedy of sorts. it has the same campy humor that you saw on 60's sitcoms and then it has kickass action sequences. but then you have scenes like when frieza impales krillin in his second form and in the english dub shouts "yeehah! giddy up cowboy!" i mean, completely out of the blue but i'll take it
