mainly ate alone- nobody to talk to much.  my parents just watched tv as i ate.  brother had to work until 8, but we're not as close anyway.  i almost cried because i wish thanksgiving wouldn't feel so awkward to me.  i tried to help my mom with things but she was too stubborn to let anybody help her in the kitchen, so i saw her really distressed.  but then my sister and her kids came- became a bit annoyed. 

but i did talk to my niece about some of her problems like acting out at school school and very catty bitches.  i mean, i've never had anybody to talk to about problems in my family, and i felt like she needed to talk to somebody.  but yeah she's only in like 4th grade and she's one of the few that has straight A's but she wants to fit in and all of the popular girls are failing.  she mainly has acquaintances and no friends, but she really wants a friend.  she told me how some of the girls from her class inspected some tampon trash bin that their teacher used since she doesn't have a staff bathroom to go to and they talked about periods.  lol what the fuck are they doing.  but yeah she really appreciated it.  i know that my sister, her mom, can be kind of hard to talk to even if she does talk with her.  but i wanted to take another approach.  she just needs someone sensitive.  she warmed up to me more after this but im not used to having close relationship or bonds with people so i feel awkward, especially family.  i don't know why family is so much more harder to be close with than going to strangers for me.  i guess it's because the long history of family i've had?  idk.   

i want to tell her how she could make friends...but i was in the same position as her when i was her age, except that i wasn't as smart.  but yeah, i really wish i could help her in that department.  but yeah she's better off right now than those catty as fuck bitches.  they get everyone in trouble.  those girls she talked about, they really want to grow up fast...

next thanksgiving im thinking of cooking for my mom instead of her doing it.  i mean it can't be that hard.  she does so much work...

nothing special, ate dinner with the family. had to work but it was really dead so mostly just sat around and read and played animal crossing. set up the christmas tree in the evening. ate pie and streamed video games.
