How can you not like Painkiller? It's by far priest's most intense album, I love it.

It's pretty good, but I still prefer their earlier stuff, like Sad Wings of Destiny.

also kaz judas priest isn't really thrash even though most of the stuff on painkiller comes close. stuff like early metallica, testament, exodus, early megadeth, slayer - that's thrash.

They did have an immense influence on thrash, though.
