favorite alcohol (not a food thread assholes because you can't eat it)

now that half of you can legally buy alcohol, what garbage do you drink

I mostly like having a glass of rum while I'm programming because it doesn't taste like shit and it has a decent concentration of alcohol. For some reason, alcohol makes me focus and some cheap rum helps me get there.

I also recently tried amaretto and irish cream and they're like liquid dessert.

Bourbon and Ryes are my drinks of choice.

Woodford Reserve/Bulleit/Makers are the ones I drink most but I toss in a few others besides that on a whim

Also, Rye is fucking delicious and my favourite thing in the world.


As far as rum goes I am not a huge fan but for what it does I use Sailor Jerry.

Not big on gin but I do enjoy bombay sapphire

I don't really drink vodka

liqueurs are amazing but just don't have enough alcohol to satisfy me and for some reason my intoxication feels shorter with them
