yeah it's pretty outdated for a smartphone, but it's still a solid phone. the keyboard is awesome and (even though i'm only using 1.6) android is really sweet. i don't even have a data plan but it's nice to use on wifi. i bought a 16gb microsd which i store music on as well, so it works as a great mp3 player

i actually like that decently speced flip phones are popular in japan.  i wish they were here, but everybody seems to like the slab form that was popularised with the iphone
