my computer is teeny weeny and can't handle much of anything and i imagine itunes to be this bloated whale breaking my computer's SPINE

what is foobar

Although foobar pissed me off recently with a huge fuck-up, it's still the best option for a weak computer. I'm using an outdated version anyways, so that's probably why it screwed up.

For Windows, definitely foobar2000. It supports the stuff you just mentioned, though it might need an easily-installable extension or two (I don't remember)
