Usually I have ideas and stories in my head that I want to share with you, but then I am fumbling to put the  key in the door for several minutes and I ask myself, what the hell am I doing here? My mind laughs. By the time I get to the computer to open everything up so bureaucratically I find myself at length because the spirit and elegance of the letter is not present any more and I cannot write simply for the sake of it. And like little vials of reality these figments and strands are lost and dispersed among the dendrites and cells, of my body and soul. It's the terror of knowing what this world is about, hearing some good friends scream LET ME OUT! I have that running through my head as I undress and somehow I am a magician because I before now the last thing I remember previous to this was wanting to drive down the road and deliver the papers but now I am dressed either as Hugh Hefner or as my grandfather. It is bizarre, but smooth and mostly true. What to do? There is so much turmoil in an artists and his subject, when it cannot be expressed and released. This is unfortunate, but entirely the point.

I have not seen that episode of enthusiasm but I have seen one where Larry david is wearing womens underpants, also sometimes called panties, for an absurd series of reasons. But I can only handle larry david in short doses. We can all be a larry david if we wanted to, but we would find it would be a little less funny and a little more serious.

Of course I have used these things and I still have them. Just as I would have something on my mind and heart. The goal is to share them. And are you seriously proposing that I sit there and type out a chance writing several pages long only to see a few people on some forums look and chew a bit and that's that? Granted I have done this before but the general realization are better now applied toward the more immediate and tangible aspects of life.

This was the first comment that really pissed me off. I consider my audience fully and equal with me, do you realize how much of respect and interest I am granting you in general and specific you fucking sick monkey!? I could dismiss you, some may fawn, but the genuine and affected man, who stands unmoved and yet involved, is the one doing justice to all of the requirements of a  an who carefully considers every aspect of himself as he would others. The audience, with all due respect, needs to just as fully consider the author.

Then you could type up whatever it is, if you still wanted to, without losing anything. And that's only if you really want to share it anyway. You could post it just here at Boyah, but you could also look for other outlets on the web to post it. Maybe some that have a larger, wider audience.

Or, reading through this stuff again, I guess it could just be a confidence thing.

I was talking about how you go about presenting your posts to us. (Which is what I thought you were sort of talking about initially)
And in your first post, I first took it to mean that by the time you got to the computer and opened up Boyah to type out your stuff, you end up losing your train of thought or don't remember exactly what you wanted to write. That was my initial thought on this. (which is why I suggested pen and paper because I thought it would be faster to get your thoughts down.) Then with some of you later comments I figured it could be a confidence thing where by the time you get here to type stuff you over think it and decide that it's not worth it. Or something like that. But that could also be that you feel that Boyah won't appreciate what you write enough to even bother posting it here or you don't want to put in any extra effort to post some of your stuff here.

I suppose that is mostly right except that I don't exactly think of what I mean in such terms and notions. Not to offend Boyah or anything, but it is only a small part of the world, the larger problem of communication and self worth and appreciation is what I was getting at. There is plenty of ambition and insight out there, but for all of our resources and connection, we tend to siphon up junk like when bigger pieces float to the top if you shake up sand.

And that's also why I suggested to find some other sites on the web that had larger and more differentiating audiences. Sites that are more geared and dedicated to writing.
