Got my 1st pickpocket very early in the game. Faerhal (or something like that) was being an asshole so I stole his house key. He is by Riverwood.

anyway i just did another daedric artifact quest last night, for Peryite. the shield he gives you is pretty awesome.

I've gotten the mace and the staff from the deadric prince quests.

well i have A staff idk if it's the same one you're talking about. the Skull of Corruption, from Vaermina.

so yeah i just have the Skull of Corruption and Spellbreaker. the latter is a great shield because it's enchanted with a barrier that negates 50 points of magic damage while you're holding it up.

its only real downside is that the Ward effect it creates will break against a spell that's more powerful than it can handle and this will cause you to stagger. so you should not use it against really high level mages or dragons.
