Keep all of your old stuff somewhere.

Keep it, but don't pine over it. Look at all of it as little bits and pieces of what got you where you are now. Pining is stupid.

I still have notebooks full of shitty stories I wrote and notes and letters from old friends and girlfriends.

yeah i keep everything, i even found a letter recently that was sent to me from my friend john when we were in fourth grade, or somewhere around there at least. it mentioned games he had gotten recently and it had terrible drawings of items from zelda games, like the master sword and the boomerang.

it was so cute i almost couldn't bear it.

Thyme

i have kept nothing from my previous relationship 5thgrade;

uh except lessons, at least i hope

i still have letters, a silver key with a heart on the handle that she gave me that she said she'd only give to the person she'd be with forever, a ring that she gave me largely so i had a ring size to reference when buying an engagement ring eventually, a scarf she gave me, a bead/rope bracelet she made for me, any gift of any sort she'd ever given me, all sorts of drawings (physical and digital), and every picture she's ever given me (all digital)

idk why i'm listing these things

I mean I saved random pictures from my ex and things from her birthday party we got and all that but they just sit in a box and I don't really think about them or look at them unless I go to put something else in my little box.

Yeah, but now five years down the line you can laugh and laugh.

snoorkel

yeah it's weird how that happens, it's known that itunes/ipod shuffle has some psychotronic component. it can be rather easily manipulated.

Can't be worse than still talking to her hocuspocus;

Samus Aran

i'm actually doing much better with the whole hensa thing, especially after openly telling her how i feel about the whole situation not too long ago

she seemed pretty happy that i still love her to death, and that i would be open with her even a year after we've broken up

so yeah i'm fine (mostly) with all that now
