I prefer the latter simply because it's shorter. I don't actually necessarily mind the former (despite my over-the-top reaction in the chat thread about it) but I feel like simplification is usually a good thing when it comes to spelling.

Nyerp

lol it's so much shorter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it also looks FUCKING RETARDED AND UNPRONOUNCEABLE akudood;

Andria

clearly I prefer judgement

baddood;

it's a single letter which is just not even going to lengthen the time it takes me to type

if it looks "unpronouncable" (not a word), then you're the retarded one n_u

common sense and psychological research maintain that the brain recognizes the word as "judgement" (if that's what you prefer) pretty much instantaneously simply because it's almost exactly the same. hell, the brain will usually instantaneously connect a jumble of letters to a word even if all the vowels are taken out, or it's just the first and last portions of the word, or anything like that.

honestly anyone who would know how to read and who knows the word "judge" would probably know pretty much by instinct how to pronounce "judgment" even if the "e" is missing

oh, you're right i did. oh well.

seriously though holy fuck shut up and calm down, it's just a simple poll and i can have my opinion if i want

goonish

also i never even came CLOSE to implying that we should all talk like that, what the fuck. i just mentioned how the brain recognizes words even if they're spelled differently/incorrectly to point out that "it looks unpronounceable" is a completely moot point, if not a downright lie.
