Maybe Papa John's is only terrible in Arizona but I would definitely say it is THE WORST pizza.

Of the chains I would say it is the best

Domino's is (or maybe was) the worst pizza chain. Haven't been there in like a decade or more though, but it was way, way too greasy back then.

It's all about the crust (thin crust sucks btw) and sauce for me and both are fucking awful at domino's

The sauce is what is bad about Papa John's. I've known a few people as kids to throw up after eating it! It's so bad. I don't bother with pizza restaurant chains so much because Phoenix has amazing pizza (#1 pizza place in the country )

My family gets it pretty frequently though! I just don't eat it.

I usually get the chicken pizzas which don't have a tomato based sauce and those are pretty damn good actually. Their tomato based is okay but with non-chains in comparison it just isn't great
