I have a 160GB slim. And it cost me about as much to buy ($200) as your repairs alone were giggle;

Samus Aran

160GB slim, and it also only cost me about as much as it cost your repairs, but that's because i used amazon gift cards to pay for almost half of it

~iDk~ is there an easy way to check
He included the model numbers in the poll for a reason. Look on the sticker on the bottom of the system for large letters starting with "CECH"

The CECH(etc.)s are serial numbers which you can find on the back of your console, on the lower left if you have a 'Slim' model and near the middle if you have a 'Fat'. bassir;

or you can check a combination of the hdd size/number of usb ports/physical size of your console lol

At least it works and you're not currently at risk of losing all your data. :'(
