I recently started reading the toaru majutsu no index light novels

The first anime inconsistency I noticed: the book says that from Touma's room's balcony the next dormitory building is less than two meters away (which makes Index's story of jumping across rooftops make more sense), but in the anime the distance is clearly much more with plenty enough space for a street or courtyard.

I like how the LN claims that, although Stiyl is over two meters tall (6'7") and only 14 years old, "His great height was characteristic of foreigners" like that kind of height would be unsurprising in the west.
