yeah i was confused about that too, it didn't seem to have any point. it's not even fanservice or anything so it's not typical of the show, it's just something that happens for no reason and what ryuuko says afterwords doesn't make any sense either???

and I guess the kiss emphasizes how extreme these changes are
also, being intimate like this is in line with how Ragyou acts, so this shows that Ryuuko was changed to be more like Ragyou

but really the main reason is probably because of fanservice

i'd actually go with daisuki.net for legal streaming and it has minimal commercial interruptions if at all
