Yes, in November. It's April. So if you want to be more precise, 5 years and 5 months. And the PS3 has been out for about 4 years and 5 months. Average out the two, and it's close to 5 years.

who cares, when this thing is released it's going to be even longer anyway

Yeah, by then it'll have been 7 years for the 360 and 6 for the PS3.

It's Nintendo.

they released an underpowered console 1 time out of 5

the wii isn't everything.

they can and most likely will easily make something more powerful than a console that came out 6 goddamn years ago, so get the nintendo hate bug out of your anus.

(though i'm sure their console will be underpowered compared to sony and microsoft's NEXT consoles, especially since nintendo is acting so goddamn early)

Nintendo's already said it's not going to be in 3D.
that doesn't mean it can't support the MVC video codec

That doesn't make them good.
it's a standard feature on new blu-ray players by the way
the new console will most likely implement some alteration of HDMI 1.4 with support for framepacking

The PSP still has the DS beat
The amount of DSs sold worldwide are more than double the amount of PSPs sold. I'm not a fanboy of any sort, but it's hard saying that when we have those odds.

I'm not talking about sales, I'm talking about the actual system.
Well what do you think matters when comparing actual systems? goowan

Hiro

The PSP really doesn't have very many games Snowy, what are you talking about goowan
And Nintendo isn't always gimmicky, just more recently.

Even in the Wii's case, it's still more powerful than the original Xbox.

I don't see how you guys say the wii was a bad system

The only problem, as far as it's library was concerned, was that it was littered with one note minigame compilations.

I enjoy my wii wholeheartedly and it is the only system I play now.

also the psp can suck a dick.
