It's been like this for a while and I can still burn CD's, but sometimes in itunes it will flash Cd burner software unable to be found" or something along the lines.
I've been looking for a solution, and was found that I should check to see if it's there in my BIOS, don't know how to do that but that's where I'm headed, wish me luck.  doodella;
But right now I just poped a burned cd that I bought in and it won't find it.

Clicking on H: just does nothing. It shows the little load sign for a second and then nothing comes up.

My old laptop doesn't either, but it also doesn't even recognize the drive. Although it still gets power to it and can open and close.

My parents PC did this. I had to delete then add something in the registry. Hold on I know I have the link bookmarked somewhere.

Are you sure it's not just a bad CD/DVD?
Yes, it's done it to multiple CD's DVD.
