Ok, for the second time now, as I was on the nets, my computer randomly crashed, and a blue screen appeared with writing saying something like "the computer has suffered a blah blah something"

then it says "begin dumping of something memory"

then "dumping complete"

then a bunch of other shit.

And I have to hold the power button to turn it off then turn it back on again...

I have a Dell pc with windows xp.

It sounds like a virus of some sort.

Infel

It sounds like a regular Blue Screen of Death to me.

It's a blue screen of death, there are many causes. If you have a laptop I'd guess overheating, otherwise defective RAM is often the culprit. Copy down the 0x00040394 etc thing and google it.

Oh okay.

I'm pretty sure then it overheated or something then, cause my McCaffe security center says says my computer is completely fine, and I did a full scan.

Thank the flying spaghetti monster its not a virus/spyware.

It wouldn't be a virus, it would most likely be some driver having an error or windows having a kernel crash
