My grandparents and uncles have a sort of...negative/neutral opinion on my dietary choices (ovo-lacto-vegetarian)...and I still get crap ("Well natured abuse!" they call it) from my folks and sister about it. So I can't count on a peaceful meal without getting crap. I also hate smalltalk with my family...I also generally don't connect well with my family...so I don't like thanksgiving. Especially now that there will be even MORE people this year that I don't know / don't have anything in common with.

Being the black sheep in a thousand different ways kinda sucks.
