a vulnerability with CVSS of 10 usually does not require user interaction nor authentication.

it would be like sending a certain command to a port or over a particular service and being able to execute code or crash the system.

These types of vulnerabilities are usually far more common than OS X and Linux. The only two recent ones for Macs and onter *nix systems were Shellshock and Heartbleed (which also could affect windows since they were bugs in OpenSSL and CGI passing stuff to BASH)
