Take a random 11 year old kid and take his reactions. It will be very similar.

Gradius is incredibly easy when it comes to shmups, Star. It's not bullet hell in the least. Even Ikaruga is relatively easy compared to some, though it certainly is hard as hell.

Then again, so are Contra and Battletoads.

It may not be, but it isn't suited for T either.  It'd be nice if we had a 15+ ratting, though.

They were the only examples I could think of off the top of my head, and I don't play many shumps either, so I don't know the really hard ones.

Well, just don't look at any videos that have to do with the newer games.

...I know that with Unleashed out, there are a lot of people who are saying that old Sonic was boring and slow.
